On Friday 29 & Saturday 30 May Põhjala is celebrating the 10th edition of its Tallinn Craft Beer Weekend & MALZ is partying along with them!
We’re organizing a couple of fun activities in the margin of the festival in Tallinn! Do you want to join us?
Tallinn Craft Beer Weekend is a two day beer festival, right in the center of Tallinn, Estonia. TCBW is a “buffet style” festival. Your ticket grants you access to taste over 370+ diverse beers from 45 world-class breweries, like Side Project, Other Half, 3 Sons, Pühaste, Lervig, To Ol,
Cloudwater, Arpus, ...
Each day the festival starts at 16h & ends at 22h.
Tickets are €90 for one day & €140 for the weekend.
MALZ ACTIVITIES
During the weekend MALZ is organising four activities for you to get to know Tallinn, taste amazing beer & food, and to get to know other beer (& MALZ) lovers better.
1. (BREW)PUB CRAWL IN TELLISKIVI
/ thursday 28/5 - evening
In this creative hub right next to the medieval center of the capital there’s a handful of breweries & brew pubs worth your while. We’ll take you at least four of them.
2. WALK THROUGH OLD TOWN & TASTING & PÜHASTE TAPROOM
/ friday 29/5 - noon
Joren will guide you through the old town. We’ll do some mandatory sightseeing, visit the Mikkeller taproom for a quick (liquid) lunch & end at the Pühaste taproom for a tasting of seven exclusive & vintage beers, especially
selected for us. price tasting: €25
3. PÕHJALA VINTAGE TASTING & BREWERY TOUR
/ saturday 30/5 - noon
Peeter Keek, founder of Põhjala, is welcoming us for a private tour around the brewery & a tasting of some of their best vintage beers, not often seeing the light of day. This is a once in a lifetime kind of event! Afterwards we can enjoy the delicious food from the taproom upstairs.

4. VISITING TULETORN IN KOPLI
/ sunday 31/5 - morning/noon
On this lazy Sunday afternoon we’ll take you to the Kopli peninsula. After a small tram ride we arrive in a neighborhood full of trendy food & beverage places, perfect for breakfast or brunch.
Tuletorn Brewing is the love child of Kristina & Chris (former head brewer of Põhjala) & brings you modern style ipa’s, sours & stouts in a quirky interior!
