Every month we set the stage for scientists & producers to take you with them on a journey into the large world of fermentation. Each talk will highlight a different part of fermentation, from barrel ageing & cheese making to wines, ciders & vinegars.
This time Janos De Baets, co-founder & head brewer of Dok Brewing Co. in Gent, will talk about his fascination for an historical ale from his home town, Uytzet. In recent years, Janos dug into archives to uncover & reinvent this style.
He's bringing some beer to taste as well. Make sure to book a ticket for the tasting, or let us know at the beginning of the talk.
